Q1: What is Cobo Accounts?

Cobo Accounts is an integrated login system meticulously crafted by Cobo for its suite of products, including Custody, Argus, MPC Lite, and more. Users have the flexibility to register for Cobo Accounts using a Google Account, an email address, or a Web3 address. Following a successful registration, users gain access to different Cobo products and can tailor permissions and roles for their team members. The data stored within Cobo Accounts is maintained independently, guaranteeing both security and privacy.

Q2: Why should I use Cobo Accounts?

  • Unified Login and Registration System

    • Experience seamless access to various Cobo products without the hassle of repeated registrations or logins. Cobo Accounts allows you to log in and access the full spectrum of Cobo products using a single set of credentials.

  • Diverse Login and Registration Methods

    • Choose from three convenient login and registration methods: Google Account, email address, and Web3 address, with the flexibility to add multiple Web3 addresses. In the future, Cobo Accounts will integrate additional login and registration methods, further expanding the options available to enhance the overall user experience.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

    • Prioritize security with multi-factor authentication during logins and critical operations like withdrawals. With Cobo Accounts, you can use a unified MFA method for effortless identity verification across various Cobo product lines.

Q3: How can I start using Cobo Accounts?

  • Go to the Cobo Accounts main page and click on "Sign up with SSO." The following uses Cobo MPC Lite as an example.

  • Choose your preferred registration method. Currently, Cobo Accounts supports three registration options: Google Account, email address, and Web3 address.

    • If you have previously registered an account on Cobo's product pages, logging in will upgrade that account to Cobo Accounts.

  • Follow the instructions to complete the registration.

  • Set up MFA as an additional security measure. Currently, Cobo Accounts supports Google Authenticator as the MFA method.

Q4: What should I do if I forgot the login password for my Cobo Accounts?

If you have chosen to use your email and password for logins and have forgotten your password, please click on the 'Forgot Password' button on the login page. You will need to complete an email verification. Then, you can proceed to reset your password.

Q5: What should I do if I have entered my login password incorrectly too many times?

For security reasons, if you enter the wrong password consecutively more than 10 times, your account will be temporarily frozen. To unfreeze your account, please click on the "Forgot Password" button and reset your password.

Q6: Is the email address case-sensitive during the Cobo Accounts registration process?

When signing up with an email address, any uppercase letters are automatically converted to lowercase. If you had previously registered in Cobo Custody and/or Argus with an email, upgrading to Cobo Accounts will automatically convert uppercase letters in your email address to lowercase. You can log in to Cobo Accounts, however, using either uppercase or lowercase letters.
