Cobo Argus V2 is Here! Supercharge Your DeFi Investments Today

Cobo Argus V2 is now live!

We are thrilled to unveil the latest version of Cobo Argus, meticulously designed to bring you higher workflow efficiency, an enhanced user experience, and seamless access to the world of DeFi.

1. New Features in Cobo Argus V2

• Import Safe in batches: you can connect your wallet addresses and batch-import Safe.

• Create Cobo Safe Modules with ease: you can create and enable Cobo Safe Modules directly on Cobo Argus.

• Customize DeFi permissions: you can create a customizable role in Cobo Argus and then delegate the role to a team member. You can set permissions for a role at function and address level based on open-source smart contracts. Alternatively, you can set permissions for the role at the parameter level by writing an authorizer contract.

• New Cobo Safe smart contract: the Cobo Safe smart contract has been upgraded in version 1.0 with the following key features:

  • More flexible role-based access controls: the authorizer contract can be written independently at the parameter level for different roles associated with the same contract address. Transfer whitelists can also be configured independently for different roles.

  • Simplified authorization process: you can set up different permissions to a specific role and then delegate this role to different member addresses to boost workflow efficiency.

  • Lower gas fees: the upgraded smart contracts will bring lower gas fees for both authorization and single-sig transactions.

  • Easy-to-read multisig transaction messages: multisig transaction messages on Safe are displayed in a simpler and more user friendly way.

2. Upgrading to Cobo Argus V2

As an existing client of Cobo Argus, you can access Cobo Argus V2 directly by logging in to https://argus.cobo.com/#/. If you need to go back to the previous version (i.e., V1), please click on the "Go to Argus V1'' button at the top of the page.

• Account & Organization: your account information, organization and member information in V1 will be auto-migrated to V2.

• Cobo Safe: your Cobo Safe Modules in V1 will not be auto-migrated to V2. You will need to manually create new Cobo Safe Modules in V2.

• Authorization Strategy & Bot: your authorization strategies in V1 will not be auto-migrated to V2. You will need to manually set up new authorization strategies in V2.

• Investment Strategy: note that Argus strategies are not supported on V2. To use Argus strategies, please head to the previous version by clicking on the "Go to Argus V1'' button at the top of the page.

3. Restrictions on Cobo Argus V1

Do note that certain features in the previous version of Cobo Argus (i.e., V1) have now been restricted. The following features in Cobo Argus V1 are affected:
