Introduction
The global custody services market for digital assets has reached new heights in recent years, driven largely by the influx of institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals. The growing demand for trusted and flexible custodial services is met by new strides in technology. The multi-party computation (MPC) solution has become one of the primary techniques to manage and protect private keys.
On a high level, MPC allows multiple parties to jointly compute a function over their inputs while keeping those inputs private. It eliminates a single point of failure, enhances operational efficiency, and complies with regulator needs.
In light of these trends, Cobo is pleased to announce the launch of Cobo MPC WaaS — a co-managed custodian solution to private key storage and governance.
