Configure Risk Control Policies

*The following features are only visible to the admins

Based on your business needs, you can set customizable risk control policies for each send / receive wallet as well as flexible internal review processes for each transaction.

Currently, a send / receive wallet supports six types of risk control policies:

  1. Enable risk control for all withdrawal requests

  2. Enable risk control for all withdrawal requests that are initiated by spenders on Cobo Custody Web

  3. Enable risk control for all withdrawal requests initiated via API

  4. Set a list of receiving addresses; risk control policies can be enabled for transactions that are associated with these addresses

  5. Set a list of receiving addresses; risk control policies can be enabled for transactions that are not associated with these addresses

  6. Set transaction limits (per transaction / per hour / per day)

  1. You need to select a risk control strategy and set the default action (e.g. auto approval, auto rejection, number of approvals required). Once completed, you can click on "Add" to add a risk control policy to your send / receive wallet.

  1. You can click on the up / down arrow to adjust the priority of a risk control policy. The policies will be checked upon based on their priorities. Once the policy with a higher priority is triggered, the remainder of the policies will no longer be checked upon.

  1. You can click on the edit icon to modify a risk control policy you've added.

  1. Once completed, you can click on the "Save Changes" button to initiate a request to modify the existing risk control policy.

  2. The admin who initiates this request will need to authorize the modification on its Cobo Auth. Once approved, the modification will be applied to the risk control policy of this send / receive wallet within 24 hours.

  3. If you’d like to modify and update the risk control policy of a send / receive wallet immediately, please contact Cobo’s customer support.
